9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9
Knowing the faithfulness of God is priceless. The enemy is quick to make you feel God has let you down when you have not yet seen what you asked Him for. You can’t look beyond God if you want to know who cares so much about you. It doesn’t matter when the miracle happens, engage the faithfulness of God.
Faithfulness translates the Greek word pistos. The word believe is also derived from the same root word. However, pistos also means dependable (worthy of reliance or trust), trustworthy, steadfast, unswerving.
God is dependable, steadfast, and trustworthy. The faithfulness of God should keep you at perfect peace knowing that He won’t allow you to be destroyed. God is the number one deliverer. He will take you out of every mess because you’re His own.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me [c]void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
Glory! God’s Word shall definitely perform what it has been sent to accomplish. This is why God is faithful. It doesn’t matter the duration of time, as long as you’re hanging on His Word and not any human recommendation, it definitely shall come to pass. Amen!
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Numbers 23:19
The worse thing to do is to doubt. All that the enemy wants to achieve is to get you to have a double mind about the capabilities of God. Some have even accused Him of taking too much time to do something – but be rest assured, God doesn’t delay at all. It is for your own good that He takes His time to get things done.
The Faithfulness Of God Has Been Tried And Tested Over Many Years And Has Not Failed Yet
17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” John 10:17-18
8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together. Genesis 22:8
The faithfulness of God was encountered by both the patriach Abraham and our Lord Jesus Christ.Abraham never staggered (doubt). Jesus engaged the faithfulness of God kowingthat He will not allow Him to rot in the grave. This should be your attitude in your walk with God. Don’t be in such a haste that you throw His faithfulness to the dogs. For 25 years, Abraham waited for the physical manifestation of the word of God.
He knew time couldn’t determine the manifestation of the Word. He knew that God is always faithful. So much that, when there was no lamb for a sacrifice, He was very sure that God was capable of providing a lamb even at the last second. If there is any Word you are holding onto, be rest assured that the faithfulness of God shall perform it.
Don’t give any room to fear – hold on to what you have received. His Word is so sure and dependable. Have a blessed day.
