Great Is The Faithfulness Of GOD

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9

Having the assurance that the faithfulness of God is great positions us to be patient whiles awaiting the physical manifestation of His Word. The truth many fail to realize is that God doesn’t always bring us a miracle. There are times you need to go through the process of faith to manifest His glory.

Some people have lost their miracles because their faith was not built enough to sustain what they have received. Faithfulness is translated from the Greek word pistos. The word believe is also derived from the same root word. However, pistos also means dependable (worthy of reliance or trust), trustworthy, steadfast, unswerving.

The faithfulness of God, however, is dependable, steadfast, and trustworthy. You must be confident that whenever God’s word is delivered, His faithfulness makes sure it is fulfilled. The faithfulness of God differentiates Him from the rest. His word is His bond and will make sure it has been performed to the satisfaction of His glory.

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me [c]void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Glory! God’s Word shall definitely perform what it has been sent to accomplish. This is the faithfulness of God – in that, it doesn’t matter the duration of time, as long as you’re hanging onHis Word and not any human recommendation, it definitely shall come to pass. Amen!

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Numbers 23:19

You have to build this faith deep down in your heart. Doubting God puts a dent in His faithfulness. The faithfulness of God prevents Him from going against His own Word. Men may fail you but not when God’s faithfulness is in question – He always passes the test.

From Abraham To Jesus, The Faithfulness of God was proven

17 “Therefore My Father loves Me because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” John 10:17-18

And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together. Genesis 22:8

Both Abraham and our Lord Jesus were so sure of the faithfulness of God in such a way that, they never wavered. They were so sure that God was more than capable to perform. This should be your attitude in your walk with God. Don’t be in such haste that you throw His faithfulness to the dogs. For 25 years, Abraham was waiting for the physical manifestation of the word of God.

He knew time couldn’t determine the manifestation of the Word. He knew about the faithfulness of God – so much that, when there was no lamb for a sacrifice, He was aware that God was capable of providing a lamb even at the last second. If there is any Word you are holding onto, be rest assured that the faithfulness of God shall perform it.

Don’t give any room to fear – hold on to what you have received. His Word is so sure and dependable. Have a blessed day.
