14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15

First, you need to understand that God is Spirit. He will not answer your prayers by first manifesting it in the flesh. We all live and have our being in the spirit realm – where faith is the dominant force.
The confidence we have in praying is that God hears us. And if we know He hears us, then we have what we pray for. God doesn’t have to prove anything to us by first manifesting the answer to our prayers in the natural realm. What He does is to hear and get our petition done in the Spirit. The manifestation in the natural realm is the work of faith.
The idea most people have is that they think God will do whatever they ask of Him. It doesn’t work that way. As long as your prayers are according to His will, He hears you. But until you align your prayers to His will, there will be no responses from the father. God doesn’t answer every prayer.
41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:41-42
Jesus in the garden had to pray in accordance with the will of God. You cannot go with your feelings and expect Him to answer. Your prayers must align with His will. We have confidence that we are heard when we pray in that manner.
God answers your prayers the moment you finish praying. As long as you prayed in line with His will, know that it is done.
Faith Manifests Your Prayers In The Natural Realm

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”
6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:1-8
God has no problem answering our prayers. The problem lies with us. Are we willing to walk in faith regarding what we have asked Him? As Jesus said in the verse above, God quickly attends to His own. However, will He find faith when He comes?
Faith receives the answers to our prayers and then implements them on earth. God will always give you His Word after you finish praying. What faith does is grab His Word and make a life out of it. If your faith is not ready to do the Word, then the physical manifestation of your prayers may take time.
God works in partnership with us. He will not come to fight your battle for you when you’re not ready to act in faith. Manifestation is inevitable as long as you confess that what you prayed for is done. Once you know that your prayers have been answered, it moves you into faith and, ultimately, thanksgiving. Stay blessed.
