Living By Wisdom

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. James 3:17

Wisdom is the ability to judge correctly and to follow the best course of action based on knowledge and understanding. Wisdom is everything in the kingdom. It is knowing how to put to work what we stand for as a people in the kingdom of God.

Wisdom is knowledge applied, and in our case, applying the knowledge of the kingdom in our walk in the world. The Father desires that you put to use what you know in the kingdom on the earth. A true King must walk In wisdom.

Wisdom is the principal thing. It is what stops you from achieving ordinary results. One needs the wisdom to achieve great things. Wisdom is always associated with kings because they need a kind of insight into the management of the affairs of their subjects. However, in Christ, we are all kings and priests.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light, 1Peter 2:9

What is common is most of the time not celebrated. Christians don’t live by common sense, because as royals, we are designed to walk in wisdom. Understanding how things are done in the kingdom is key to living a beautiful life to the glory of the Father.

Wisdom is to seek to do the Father’s will. It is foolish in the eyes of the world when we walk in our wisdom. They have no idea why we do what we do, but in Christ, we glorify God. The purpose we are in this world is not to do our will but that of the Father.

Build Your Life On Wisdom

24 ‚ÄúTherefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. Matthew 7:24-25

It is unwise to know what to do but fail to take any action. You manifest wisdom when you do the Word. Scriptures or Words heard from the Holy Spirit are not just meant to be committed to memory. I know some believers who can quote scriptures yet will do none of them.

Until you build your life on the Word, you cannot be walking in wisdom. And any life that is not built on wisdom will be brought down. It is time to be a wise builder. Many have landed into all kinds of shame and troubles by following the course of this world.

In Christ, the wise builder doesn’t need to be an engineer but one who builds by using the word of God. There is nothing to strive or fight for when wisdom is operational.

By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom. Proverbs 13:10

Don’t waste your time trying to please the world. Jesus came to do the will of God – that should your focus as well. He came to do what the Father instructed Him to fulfill.

I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.  John 17:4

Until you put to work what you in the kingdom, you are still seen by the Father as unwise. Jesus came to do what the Father gave to Him – the question is, what are you doing? Receive the grace to walk in wisdom at all times. Stay blessed
