13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. 2 Corinthians 4:13-14
There is power in speaking what you believe. The natural man often works with his hands – however, the spiritual man works with his mouth. If you believe what God says concerning your life, you will speak about it.
God, who is Spirit, demonstrated how to live spiritually when He recreated the world. God came to meet a dire situation in that the world was shapeless, with no beauty, and full of darkness. He could’ve easily spoken words in reaction to what He saw. He could’ve spent the time describing what He met, but, He was on a mission and had a purpose.
Instead of complaining or moaning about the state of affairs, He spoke what He wanted to bring into manifestation. Every single thing that was created was first spoken. This is the life and spirit we have as believers. We have the same spirit of faith – we believe and, therefore; we speak. If you are not willing to speak about anything, don’t expect something to happen.
In fact, most people are experiencing what they keep on saying. It is a principle in the realm of the spirit-your words are your work. You cannot work with your hands if you have not first spoken. Words precede every action in the kingdom. What you say tells of the life you possess.
You cannot believe you have life, blessed and prosperous, and then speak words of death, curse, and poverty. What contrast faith is sight. What you see is not faith – it is you hear. Faith comes by hearing. In the spirit, words are our evidence. The moment the Father utters anything, that is our assurance that we have it.
It is our job to continue speaking the words we have received until they manifest in the natural realm. The word of life (God) is the seed we need for our natural harvest.
“The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned. Isaiah 50:4
We communicate life through words. Don’t just get up to speak words that contrast the reality of your life. Your mouth is the medium to manifest what you are made of. The same mouth can speak into manifestation what you don’t want to see. The irony is that many are speaking based on what they are seeing, but their desire is not to experience what they say.
For instance, you hear someone claim he is sick. Meanwhile, what he actually desires is to be healthy. So why won’t he rather speak into manifestation what will reveal his glory? When our Father had wanted to recreate the world, He spoke what He wanted to see and not what He didn’t.
Understand how the spiritual life works – it doesn’t work by sight, but by faith. Faith is spoken – the mouth is the compass of your destiny. Too many believers are reckless with their mouths. They say what they feel, see, or think. However, we must speak must be based on the Spirit we have and the will of the Father.
Make it your goal to speak life all the time. Make it your desire to speak the reality of your life – yes, you will encounter challenges, but the heavenly council requires your words to enforce the glory of the Father in your life. You have a life to produce results. What you say must build, create and glorify. Stay blessed always.
My Father, I thank you in the name of the Lord Jesus for your life in me. This life produces words that create and manifest your glory in me. I speak in agreement to your reality – I speak your will, divine counsel, and purpose. I thank you for taking me to the next level through the words I speak. Amen!
