20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Believers ought to understand the kind of life we are expected to live here on earth. For instance, when you hear a Christian claim that life is hard, you wonder what life is he talking about? Many are fixated on what goes on around in this sight realm forgetting that in Christ, we have moved on from the flesh.
We all need to understand that the life we have in Christ Jesus is spiritual. The life we now have in the flesh is that which came from the Father. We are not merely flesh and blood – we are operatives of the life of the Spirit. We live in the Spirit and manifest as such in the flesh. To live in the Spirit is far superior to restricting yourself to the flesh.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2
A bonafide believer ought to fully grasp the fact that we are first of all spiritual. Nothing under this sun can change this truth. The Word says there is no condemnation to those who don’t walk in the flesh but according to the Spirit. In other words, anyone who walks/lives in the flesh is condemned! This truth should get you out of the flesh. Because too many believers feel comfortable in the flesh.
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16
The only way out of living in the flesh is to live in the Spirit. Because the life we have in Christ does not enjoin us to live in the flesh. Because living that way is not different from living in sin.
Jesus Brought Us The Life Of The Spirit For Our Glory
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Knowing how deplorable the life of the flesh was and still is, God’s love did what would bring an end to all of mankind’s problems. He sent Jesus to bring us His life. Yes, God sent Jesus to bring us His life which is spiritual in nature. That was the only way He could take the human race out of the darkness.
It is this life every believer ought to live. We are not expected to live in the flesh. Don’t lower the standard by going on the tangent that we are only humans. No, sir! We are more than humans! Yes, mum! We are not just flesh and blood! We have been drafted into the realm of God who is Spirit. Whether you believe it or not, a proper born-again person is in the Spirit; and the earlier we live accordingly, the better.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
This verse is quite popular, but a lot of believers haven’t yet come to terms with the word new. New is new! Anyone in Christ is a new creation. I don’t know how you understand this but what I know is that I became new from the day I traded my earthly sinful nature for that of Jesus’s life from above. Glory! I am new in Christ. This newness is the life in the Spirit we live. We cannot live from the flesh and expect our Father who is Spirit to be excited.
Therefore, know that you are not ordinary. Your level has changed because your life is spiritual. The better you start living this way the better you will encounter the transformation you desire. Stay blessed
